RAVEN CHACON: TIGUEX

Pulitzer Prize–winning, Albuquerque-based composer Raven Chacon’s Tiguex is a large-scale, daylong musical work unfolding as twenty overlapping movements performed from dawn to dusk across Albuquerque. Staged on September 27, 2025, the piece transformed the city itself into a performance space, weaving sound through multiple locations and moments at once. Bringing together over 200 musicians, Tiguex invited listeners to experience Albuquerque as a living score—layered, shifting, and shared in real time.
